A New Year! - And what have we done?

Postby pippa on Wed Jan 04, 2012 4:55 pm

I wish everyone a successful, peaceful and healthy New Year, and I hope we are pleased with the progress we achieved in the last year.

I am not pleased o. I could have done far better. This year is supposed to be different but it is looking like more of the same. Happy New Year :d

Well, as this year is a leap year, you will have this whole year plus one extra day to redeem your lack of progress in the last year! :) Isn't that just cool?
So what was the impediment?

Didn't think of it that way... I think I have wasted like 13 days. Considering the one extra day, it's a deficit of 12 days :(.
It's just passion. I am lacking that fire for anything. If I got a plan or a goal, I'm just not fired up to go on with it. ...And the clock is ticking

You sound pessimistic to me, so you want to change that attitude. Do you think you need a break from your daily routine to change your perspective? You might be apathetic because you keep doing the same thing, meeting the same people and encountering the same attitudes everyday. Take a break! Dance on the roof!

How's work?

Just before I read this, I had this feeling that pessimism has overtaken my thoughts. I'm trying to be cautious of it now. I actually wish I could take a long break and think; know with a fair degree of certainty what I want to do and love doing. I want to danceeeeeee. Besides, no one to dance with :D.
Work's fine... It's that time of the year where I am supposed to be so busy. I trust everything is great your end.
