Deregulation in Nigeria

Postby BigBrother on Thu Nov 05, 2009 3:50 pm

With the absence of cash in the economy and rising levels of poverty, i wonder what the government is trying to achieve with their plans to increase fuel price. If there is corruption in NNPC, they should deal with it. When international oil prices fell to $40 a barrel, they did not make any effort to deregulate. It has jumped up to over $70 and they want to burden us. They should be careful o, they are pushing us to the edge

Deregulation is only good in an economy where people get adequate wages for their labour. Not a country where every one is struggling to live.
