Good for pastor Tunde bakare but here in nigeria we are practising 'AMALA POLITICS' so.................. i am afraid he cannot win

hi folks. To put the records straight, Pastor Bakare has not yet declared his intention to run for the presidency. Just like Deboyemide has said, "Newspapers put what ever it is they think will sell in the papers at all times, whether it is true or not". In any case, nothing whatsoever stands in the way of Pastor Bakare if he so chooses to run for the presidency come 2011, if anything at all, at least to bring the much desired sanity into our polity. To be frank, we're tired of all these sick, intellectually-lazy, and over-spent politicians. YES CHANGE WE NEED. Remember, change does not just come by words of mouth. "The best of dreams come to pass when we are awake!"

Pastor Bakare is a bit temperamental and I think he needs to deal with that else his temper may be a problem for him .Rembember Moses,and the children of Israel. Anyway nothing is too hard for God.

Passtor Bakare is missing it ! God created him to win souls and not to rule Naija. When God has blessed a man, he tends to forget God and what God is saying or said. Experience is not what you go to the market and procure. Pastor Bakare should ask Pastor Chris Okotie what and how it feels to be a loser. I am waiting to see him fail because he can not win. If David and Solomon missed it then who is Pastor Bakare not to miss it. Who says "he cannot dream"? Go on dreaming Pastor!!!

It's not a bad idea, afterall Rev. Jessy Jackson did try. However, from my own experience of Africa, Africans, Nigeria and Nigerians, we need a leadership which is different from what I've seen so far in this gentleman.

Pastor Tunde Bakare is an absolute iconoclast, we need someone who is quite diplomatic. I stand to be corrected he should start breeding people of his kind who can run in the next 20-40 years. There is no sanity yet, in terms of literacy, which is needed for people to flow with iconoclasts. Obama was campaigning on a lot of terms (healthcare, economy, energy etc) and people were flowing with him. That is the reason the landslide was significant.

As far as I am concerned let Pastor Tunde Bakare be an adviser to someone like Fashola who is a perfect candidate for the 2011 elections, then we can build a new generation together.

I don't see anything wrong for him to run for the highest post in the country, He is a Nigerian and qualify as any other Nigerian. Let him go and test his popularity. Maybe he is God sent and probably he might be our Obama.

it is going to be one of the greatest gift ever bestowed on us by God.God himself will back him up and pave way for him the same way He did for Obama.it will be one of the greatest grace Nigerians will have from the ALMIGHTY.

i don't see anything wrong in Tunde Bakare running for presidency come 2011.in fact,i think it is the best because,He is a Man of principle and this country needs people like Him to ride us through our Nation.Go on Tunde Bakare i am behind you.
