Dressing for a date

Postby BigBrother on Fri May 15, 2009 6:37 pm

I love the casual look - a pair of jeans, a polo top and sneakers. Although I know it's dependent on the location but I've this feeling that ladies seem to like the more formal look. How do you dress for a date and how are guys really supposed to dress?

That's right. You may be sent home for showing up in a too casual look because it may indicate that you didn't try to impress your date. Casual dress shirt and trousers will do. Do you have a Banana Republic there? They sell that look. Of course, if you are going to the Opera, please put on a jacket.

Hmm, I can't escape tucking in my shirt :(. No banana republic here at all. I wish we had one, lovely pricey designs there.

Jean trousers, Short sleeve corporate shirt "preferably check" (tuck in), A tie with the same colours of shoes, A sweat shirt on top the corporate shirt (tuck in tie length into sweat shirt, fly sweat shirt which is short sleeve but longer than corporate shirt sleeve length), chux shoes with vertical designs and you can top it with a jacket if you like.

Well, I've learnt matters of the heart are worse than interviews.
