PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC Nigeria) test format

Postby BigBrother on Thu Mar 05, 2009 6:18 pm

The test is usually in two sections:
1. Section A (35 mins): You will be expected to write an essay on a current Nigerian issue (ranging from education to corruption etc). the aim of this is to test your writing and communication skills, not necessarily how much you know about the topic in question (doesnt mean you shouldnt know anything about the topic at hand). the point here therefore is to focus on the clarity of your points et al.

2. Section B (about 1hr 30 mins): Aptitude tests ranging from math, english, quantitative and verbal, number series, shapes, etc (you can get guidance on this from the job GMAT tests).

Note: (1) Section B is usually marked first, you must obtain at least 50% in the section B before your essay will be marked. What this means is that no matter how beautifully written your essay is, it will not be read at all if you dont do well in the aptitude test.

(2) it is not 100% reliable. What this means is that the format may have changed to something else. Im not saying this to scare you or anything, im just telling you to be flexible and expect anything.... Dont panic, theres really nothing big to it...I wish you all the best...

To "Anonymous": Thanks for taking the risk to give this info, To be honest i'm in love wiv pwc's services and methods, and want to be part of the team, so if it's not much trouble will you be kind enough to give me answers to the following questions.
1)How can a corps member get a space to serve pwc?
2)Do corps members intending to serve with pwc write tests and is there a different format?
2)When is the next recruiting exercise for fresh graduates and post NYSC going to be?
